I have put these together for the simple reason that they are the same fish but slightly different varieties.

albino coryThe Albino Cory has been developed through breeding from the Bronze Cory .  Their pink and white coloration adds interest to the aquarium.

Whichever Cory catfish you decide on it is best to stick with one variety.  Corys are a shoaling fish and ideally need to be kept in shoals of six or more if you want to see them at their best. They are a very active fish that mixes well in a community tank.

The Albino Cory can be sensitive to strong light and need to be kept in a well planted tank with plenty of hiding places.  T

They are bottom feeders and will help to keep the tank clean by scavenging all uneaten food from the bottom of the tank.

bronze coryThey are best kept with a sand or fine gravel substrate as they can be prone to barbel damage from coarse gravel.  They can survive in a low oxygen environment because of their habit of taking gulps of air from the surface.

They will eat most food but do best with a sinking pellet specifically for bottom feeders and catfish.

These fish will breed readily in a home aquarium sticking their eggs to teh glass and to plants.  Survival rates are very low unless the eggs are protected from other fish.
