Anubias Barteri

Anubias Barteri is probably one of the most common aquarium plants.  It has lush green arrow shaped leaves and grows from a rhizome which will put out side shoots when water conditions are right. This plant benefits from leaving the root ball undisturbed. It can grow to form a large plant anything up to 16 inches across but can be easily kept under control simply by pruning the leaves nearest to the rhizome.
