Depending on your size of tank baby tears can be a great little mid to foreground addition to your planting.  Baby Tears is a prolific grower which is very adaptable and flourishes in the right conditions.  If you stray too far from its preferred conditions it can become stringy in appearance as opposed to its normally compact habit.  It will readily spread across your substrate and offers protection to fry when your fish have been breeding.  It has quite tender leaves and may suffer from fish that nibble.  Plant it in a fine substrate to avoid damage to the roots which are very delicate .
