Hygrophilia Polysperma is banned in many parts of the USA because of its invasive habit and fast growth but don't be put off.  It will tolerate a very wide range of water properties and will quickly add volume to your planting.  It can also change colour as it nears the light from a pink hue to brown so adds interest.
