Java Moss is a great little plant when you  first get it but be careful because it will try to take over and does so very successfully.  Having said that I wouldn't be without it.  It has several uses and will attach itself to rocks and driftwood eventually forming a thick carpet of vegetation across your substrate.  Don't be afraid to prune it as it will always recover.  This is the sort of plant that fry will love to hide in so if your fish breed there is a good chance of a few survivors lurking in the Java Moss.

Heed my warning!  As soon as Java Moss touches a piece of driftwood it will colonise it and once it has it is almost impossible to remove.  This is a great plant but treat it with respect and keep it under control.  Not suitable for people who feel that their maintenance may be a bit hit and miss.
